Vetements’s Printed Derby Shoe Mixes Business With Pleasure

Vetements continues a string of unflinchingly off-kilter Fall/Winter 2018 dropswith this pair of racing-inspired derby shoes. In line with the brand’s $3,315 USD Alpha Industries jacket, these black derbies have been upgraded with bold red and yellow prints informed by racing decals. “69” and “Vetements” detailing accompanies smaller prints that read “XTREME,” “MEN SHOES” (sic) and “100% PRO,” evoking corporate sponsorships. Aside from the bold detailing, the shoes are fairly conventional, with an almond toe, stacked wooden heel and polished black leather upper.
